Explination of Disposition in Oklahoma Criminal Law
When you see the term of "disposition" or "no-issue disposition" in relation to criminal law in Oklahoma it means the case is set for plea. Often times you will hear a judge just say that the case is set for "no-issue". When a case is set for "no-issue disposition" it means that the judge expects that a plea is going to be entered on that day and that the case will not be set for "issue" which could be either trial, preliminary hearing or motion hearing.
